Are Electronic Cigarettes Really Safer than Traditional Cigarettes?

Gone are the days when people could only smoke traditional cigarettes and cigars. Today, it’s practically the era of “smoking” electronic cigarettes, small contraptions intended to deliver the sensations of nicotine without the harmful effects associated with burning tobacco. That said, e-cigs (as they are otherwise known) are also making the rounds as smoking cessation tools for smokers who intend to quit. Copious amounts of marketing have positioned e-cigs as healthier alternatives to tobacco, and there’s some grain of truth in that. E-cigs, after all, contain fewer harmful elements like carcinogens. On the other hand, one can’t also ignore the fact that while e-cigs have fewer harmful substances, they’re not without flaws.
